The PHALANX ™ Range Rig is a precision-engineered modular carry platform developed and manufactured by StealthKydex in South Africa.

Designed for range environments, training and sporting applications, the PHALANX Range Rig combines a rigid mounting platform, precision-formed Kydex construction and configurable attachment options into one refined system.

Why PHALANX?

The name PHALANX comes from the ancient Greek word phálanx (φάλαγξ), referring to a closely organized formation in which individual elements worked together as one.

That principle is at the heart of the PHALANX platform.

The system is built around the idea that individual components should not simply coexist—they should work together as a complete, stable and cohesive system.

Designed as a System

The PHALANX ™ Range Rig has been developed using modern design and manufacturing technology to achieve a precise, repeatable and robust finished product.

The Kydex shell is securely mounted to a metal module system, providing a rigid connection between the holster and belt platform.

A removable leg strap is included for users who require additional support and stability.

The system is also compatible with an aftermarket QLS-style quick-release system, giving users the flexibility to configure their equipment around their individual requirements.

For those who prefer a complete original Safariland mounting solution, the PHALANX Range Rig is also available with the original Safariland hanger and QLS system as a premium option.

Metal Module

Our standard configuration uses a metal module system.

We chose a metal mounting solution because rigidity and stability matter. The mounting interface is an integral part of the overall system and should be engineered accordingly.

Original Safariland Hanger + QLS

Customers who prefer the original Safariland mounting ecosystem can select the original Safariland hanger and QLS system as an upgraded configuration.

This gives you the freedom to choose the mounting solution that best suits your existing equipment.
